Biography

​

  • Victor Carter is native of Miami, Florida.

  • He was reared in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, the son of William and Rebecca Carter

  • Graduated at Goodlettsville High School with honors. He is an alumnus of Tennessee State University.

  • Received higher learning at Florida Atlantic University, and graduated University of Fort Lauderdale with honors, Summa Cum Laude.

  • Saved and baptized with Holy Ghost on April 9, 1976; Called into the ministry of the Gospel and preached first sermon in September of 1979.

  • He has been married for over 36 years to his lovely wife Florence.

  • He is the father of one daughter, Jasmine who is a Daddy’s girl.

  • Served as Senior Pastor of the House of God Church in Fort Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach, and presently serving as pastor at Brownsville, Florida

  • Presently presiding as State Elder of the East Coast Florida Diocese.

  • Serves as a member of the State Trustee Board of East Coast Florida Diocese.

  • Serves on the General Trustee Board

  • Serves on the National Video Production Committee of the National House Of God Church.

  • Pastor Carter is the president and CEO of Victor Carter Ministries Inc. established and incorporated as non-profit Organization in 2004.

  • June 28, 2021, reappointed as the State Elder of the Florida East Coast Diocese

  • June 27, 2022, appointed as a State Elder in the Florida East Coast Diocese

 

 

Accomplishments:

  • Established a food distribution program to feed the homeless.

  • Established various ministries to name a few.

  • Prison ministry

  • Nursing home ministry

  • Feeding the homeless ministry

  • Men and Women’s ministry

  • Youth ministry

  • Marriage ministry

  • Single’s ministry

  • Evangelistic ministry

  • Van Transportation ministry

  • Purchased several real estate properties.

  • Renovation and modification of several church buildings

  • Performed many marriages, funerals, baptisms, revivals, and christening ceremonies.

  • Set up support groups, study groups, mentoring, work groups, quorums and forums.

  • Established Victor Carter Ministries Inc. – a non-profit organization to promote educational and charitable works

  • We help sponsor young adults to take a mission trip to Ethiopia Africa and Haiti to minister and assist destitute children.

  • Recognized as pastor of the week twice by Miami Herald News
