The FLECD Adjutancy Ministry
The adjutant is one who helps, assists, and gives strength and support to the upper prelature/ leadership of the church. The principal goal of the adjutant is to serve and sanctify the leaders in the spirit of excellence, in the sight of God and the people. The adjutant is one who is able to consistently, willingly, be in place to be an aid, doing so having good conduct, character, behavior and filled with the Holy Ghost, as described in Acts chapter 2. This applies to all those serving in any ministerial capacity, from the parking attendant to the associate minister.
The adjutant to the Bishop or Presiding State Elder, serves the leader in any way possible. The Adjutant acts as the spiritual equivalent to a personal assistant, most commonly serving at the pleasure of the leader. Some of the primary roles and tasks of the Adjutancy is to assist in organizing and coordinating FLECD State programs: (i) Processionals; (ii) Pulpit coordination; and (iii) Assisting the Presiding Prelate, to include other duties assigned. Our goal is to serve this present age, because we have a calling to fulfill. Is it not written, “And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.” Mark 10:44.
The FLECD Adjutancy Ministry serves under the principle of the International Adjutancy Ministry, headquartered in Nashville, TN.
